This property is located on a private mews estate in Battersea, London. It was to be stripped back to the original structure with the ground floor reconfigured and a new basement living area to be added.
A new air sourced heating and plumbing system was installed throughout, incorporating under floor heating and traditional radiators to the upper floor and a luxury en-suite shower room was added to the basement conversion. We added wet under floor heating to both the ground floor and the basement offering a more efficient and pleasant way of heating the house. This was then finished with a resin floor.
The windows to the entire ground floor were removed for the excavation of the basement level and then refurbished and reinstalled at the final fit out stage. Where the mews management would not permit external light wells to the property, internal walk on glass was added where possible to flood as much natural light into the basement living area.
The bespoke floating staircases were designed in house and manufactured on site by our skilled fabrication partners and in house carpenters.
All joinery on this project was constructed on site by our in-house skilled carpenters, these were also spray painted on site to suit the customers requirements. These consisted of book cupboards, basement and first floor bedroom wardrobes, a study desk and drawers, cupboards to the gym and the kitchen areas.
